Ruby Yuen was appointed as the YWCA Greater Los Angeles’ Chief Financial Officer in October 2022. She initially joined the association in 2014 as the Corporate Controller. She has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in California since 2001 and has over 30 years of comprehensive accounting and finance experience working in the non-profit, private, and public sectors. Ruby spent 8 years working in public accounting specializing in audit, tax, and Sarbanes–Oxley (SOX) compliance.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Accountancy from California State University, Long Beach. Ruby has overseen the finance department for both international and domestic companies. She possesses extensive knowledge and experience in managing financial operations in a non-profit organization. As a member of the executive team, Ruby is committed to achieving YWCA Greater Los Angeles’ mission.
