Lisa Hirsch Marin is driven by a vision of a world where women and girls have equal opportunities, thriving health and wellness, and are free from racism and violence. Bringing more than 28 years of experience in the public and nonprofit sector, she is a passionate and accomplished executive who leads mission-driven initiatives, partner engagement, advocacy and systems-change strategies.
Ms. Hirsch Marin is bilingual/bi-cultural and her content expertise includes designing and executing trauma-informed, strength-based and culturally relevant programs that integrate wholistic services for mental wellness survivors of intimate partner violence, sexual assault, community and all forms of gender-based violence. Wholistic services include mental health, early childhood education, emergency crisis response, child welfare, TAY housing, prevention strategies and permanent supportive housing.
Ms. Hirsch Marin has also excelled in the field of organizational development and leadership, strategic planning, culture change, conflict resolution, and workshop facilitation to build organizational cultures of collaboration, diversity, inclusion, and innovation among staff, clients, and community partners. She is adept at analyzing disparate information to form a sound, well-organized collaborative plan that address the complex needs and challenges of our diverse and underserved communities.
Currently, as Chief Program Officer at YWCA Greater Los Angeles, she oversees strategic, financial, grants and operational execution of four Empowerment Programs, including Early Child Development Centers, Sexual Assault Crisis Services, Senior Enrichment Services and Youth Empowerment Programming. Prior, as Chief Operating Officer at Los Angeles Child Guidance Clinic for over four years, she led seven mental health, psychiatry, total quality assurance, family education and support, crisis intervention and community development divisions, providing services impacting 8,500 children a year.
Hirsch Marin has double master’s degrees in social welfare and Organizational Development and Leadership, and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for 22 years. Lisa has been recognized by the Los Angeles County Commission for Women as a Woman of the Year award recipient.
