Aylin Atay (she/her/o) has been a member of the YWCA family for 25 years and joined YWCA Greater Los Angeles in 2024 as the Director of MIS & Information Technology. As an immigrant and native of İstanbul, Türkiye, with a deep connection to her collectivist and community focused cultural origins, Aylin’s interest in the human aspect as much as the innovative work shapes her ideas and focus with people in mind first. She’s held progressive roles in the information technology field as well as serving as a technology consultant for business start-ups and corporations cultivating hybrid industry skills and cross-pollinating ideas and experiences.

Aylin’s immediate passion is to facilitate a collaborative work environment supporting individual and organizational growth by encouraging curiosity, learning, transparency, inclusivity, authenticity, clarity and teamwork. The wider future vision is to establish an intelligent strategic and operational information and technology partnership model that is scalable and replicable in the non-profit space. Aylin is a fan of the great outdoors, playing basketball, and the works of the scholars Rumi and Eckhardt Tolle. Aylin is part of the LGBTQI+ community, and deeply connected and committed to the mission of the YWCA.
