Center Director, Los Angeles Job Corps
As a proven leader with a dynamic work ethic, Fred Williams is the Center Director of the Los Angeles Job Corps.
His extensive career has focused on improving the lives of at-risk youth, beginning in 2000 where he served as the Career Services Director with oversight of academics, career prep and technical training at the Potomac Job Corps Center. Within in six months, he was promoted to Deputy Center Director.
Shortly thereafter, Fred accepted an offer to serve as the Social Development Director at the Clearfield Job Corps Center in Utah. The new role granted him the opportunity to gain more hands-on experience within the Job Corps system. After two years, he returned to the Potomac Job Corps Center as the Deputy Center Director.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Fred has also worked as the Director of YSC Youth Correctional Department and the Department of Justice within the juvenile correctional system.
Prior to joining the Los Angeles Job Corps, Fred was the Deputy Center Director for the Little Rock Job Corps Center in Arkansas.
